If you've visited our healthy little corner of the world, you know we're big on nutritional supplements. The right supplements help your body replenish the amount of dietary nutrients it needs each day -- incredibly important if you skip meals or grab the occasional processed junk snack.
Why supplements? In an ideal world, your body would receive all the nutrients it needs from your food. Unfortunately, the average person has a diet that consistently interferes with the natural energy and immune structures in our bodies. (Processed grains for example, contain phytic acid and amalgamations that obstruct nutrient absorption; they can even damage your intestines, making it difficult for your body to absorb nutrients.) Nutrient-deficient food is the result of over-processing (requiring the need for chemical additives to maintain shelf life) and improper farming practices which strip the soil where the food is grown of essential vitamins, minerals and microbes.
From immune-boosting B vitamins to Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc for brain health, we've got just what your body needs to stay healthy and strong.
